Mozilla, the firm guiding the Firefox browser, is partnering with the nonprofit newsroom The Markup to launch a study that will analyze how Fb tracks data for specific adverts and to tailor content material recommendations for consumers.

Firefox users can choose into the “Facebook Pixel Hunt” study by way of Rally. Mozilla explained that the review will not share granulated measurements about contributors with third functions. Furthermore, following the examination is completed, Mozilla stated it will delete uncooked facts. 

The Markup will also only use aggregated and anonymized facts in its reporting.
